The Installation Method of Anti-hail Net
Author:
Currently, there are three common methods for constructing an anti-hail net!
Horizontal Construction Method for Anti-hail Nets
The horizontal construction method is relatively easy to build and more efficient in terms of use of anti-hail nets. However, it is not as stable and reasonable as the ridge construction method. In addition, the effect of timely sliding from the net surface after intercepting and buffering hail is not ideal. Figure 1 shows the schematic diagram of the horizontal construction.
When building an anti-hail netting, it is necessary to design different distances between the building poles according to different construction methods and widths to ensure the stability after the net is built and the effective protection against hail. In the horizontal construction method, the height of the support above the entire ground is the same. Table 1 shows the specific data requirements for the horizontal construction of anti-hail nets.

Ridge Construction Method for Anti-hail Nets
The ridge construction method controls the angle between the ridge slope and the horizontal plane between 20° and 30° and sets the gap between 2 rows of nets in the tree rows for easy interception of hail particles rolling down along the net surface to the ground between the tree rows. When constructing the ridge and one-sided slope, it should be noted that due to the angle of the net, the projected area of the net is smaller than the actual area, so the efficiency of the net utilization is lower than that of the horizontal construction method. Figure 2 shows the schematic diagram of the ridge construction method.
When constructing the ridge, the height of the middle support H is higher than that of the edge support H edge, forming a ridge angle. When constructing, ensure that the sum of the lengths L of the two slant sides at the top of the ridge is equal to or slightly smaller than the width of the anti-hail net in use.
One-Sided Slope Construction Method for Anti-hail Nets
The one-sided slope construction method should be based on the direction from which the major winds or hail disaster attacked in previous years or in the current season. When constructing, the angle between the slope and the horizontal direction should be between 20° and 30° to improve the effect of hail protection. Figure 3 shows the schematic diagram of the one-sided slope construction.
The one-sided slope construction method has different heights of the support above the ground on both sides of the width direction, which are H high and H low. This construction method is generally not suitable for building wide anti-hail nets. The angle size can be determined according to the actual terrain, but it must be ensured that the length L of the oblique side is equal to or slightly smaller than the width of the net in use. Table 3 shows the specific data requirements for the one-sided slope construction of anti-hail nets.
