Description

In order to protect hay bales, straw bales and grain from wind and weather in the best possible way, we have developed our protective fleece. They repel water from the outside and at the same time let moisture out from the inside, which ensures the best possible ventilation.

Hay fleeces, straw fleeces or grain fleeces are covering fleeces made of polypropylene with which various harvest products in outdoor storage, such as hay bales, straw bales and grain, can be covered and thus protected from the effects of the weather.

Our protective fleeces are mainly used by farmers and contractors. This is not only space-saving and flexible, but also an extremely cost-effective alternative to indoor storage, as the bales can be stored directly next to the field.

Protective fleeces have been developed to allow hay and straw bales to be stored outdoors in a weatherproof manner. The covering fleece protects the bales from wind and rain and remains free of mold, as no wet spots form when used properly due to the air permeability. The protective fleeces also provide a cost-effective alternative to indoor storage.

Hay and straw fleeces are useful because they have the ability to drain rainwater and allow moisture to escape. This means that straw and hay bales can be stored safely outdoors. The harvest quality is maintained throughout the entire storage period. In addition, our protective fleeces are highly UV-stable and can be used for several years.

Feature

Tear-resistant and durable – our 140 g/m² straw protection fleece is made from environmentally friendly polypropylene and is characterised by extremely high tear resistance – the garden fleece with a long service life.

Weatherproof and resistant – the winter protection fleece is weather-resistant and water-repellent and offers sun protection thanks to strong UV resistance. The high-quality tarpaulin with a unique texture.

Breathable and lightweight – the breathable structures of the straw tarpaulin allow moisture to escape and supply the bales with fresh air – the fleece tarpaulin for best storage results.

Easy to put on – Despite high strength, the straw ball protection fleece is very flexible and not susceptible to wind – the hay protection fleece can therefore be easily laid with sand bags, nails or eyelets.
